Jason Desrouleaux, known by his stage name Jason Derülo (Miami, September 21, 1989) is a singer, songwriter, actor and dancer in the U.S..
After producing several albums and writing songs for Cash Money Records, has signed acontract with record label Beluga Heights. Later Beluga Heights became part of WarnerMusic Group, and Derülo released their first single, "Whatcha Say" in May 2009. The song was quite empty, selling over 2 million digitally, being certified double platinum by the RIAA, and reached the top of the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States and in othercountries. The second single, "In My Head" was released in December 2009. The self-titled debut album and was released on March 2, 2010.
